issues with Advmame/ Arcadeos/ AdvMenu
« on: August 19, 2004, 03:57:05 am »
Ok, I've been running Advmame with AdvMenu fine for a while, but it had no sound.  I never could get my onboard sound or my C-Media PCI soundcards working.  I just bought a SB PCI card and am having different issues now!

First I got it to produce sound in DOS (the others never did), but when I loaded up AdvMenu it would stutter and lock up immediately.  I can't get it to stop doing it!

I tried using MAME woth ArcadeOS instead.  Wouldn't find the roms, and wouldn't load the few that it did find.

I tried AOS with AdvMame and it did the same thing.  Finally it recognised the roms for AdvMAME, but it freezes immediately if the sound card is set to SB (1).  With the sound set to off, it tries to load and just freezes.

HELP!!!!

(Oh yeah, I'm running in 98SE DOS on a Super NeoGeo 29 cab).
