Should I get a dreamcast?

You can pick them up pretty cheaply on ebay.

I hear the games for it are pretty good - pretty much arcade equivalents.

For the money get both.  you can get a dreamcast for like 15 bucks from ebgames and games are cheap too.  The ps2 will have the later hits and strong support.  Kinda depends on what kind of games you like though.

I never thought about buying a Dreamcast until I joined BYOAC. Everybody kept raving about how great it is. I picked one up at a gamestop for $14. I couldnt be happier. The games are great and are super cheap. I love it!

I bought mine used from Software Etc almost 2 years ago for $50 bucks and it was a GREAT deal at $50...for $15 dollars I can't see how you could go wrong.  One of the best purchases that I've made.  :)

As should every programmer who wants to learn game console programming.  For the price, it's a heckuva development/learning system.

Mine's just hooked up to the TV.  It's great for classic console emulation.

Definitely get one, it is one of the best systems ever made in my opinion.
Next I'll be on fries, and that's when the big money starts rolling in.
