hehe, I love the aftermarket scene. However there's being classy and then there's just buying any ol' part out of a magazine and slapping it on.
Example of good. My friend's Ford Focus. He has alot of aftermarket on it, but it looks good. he still has the stock spoiler on it though, but it fits. He picked up the european body kit which I think looks better than the US. He had his mirrors and side trim painted to match the red body. This was before Ford started putting matched trim ont he Focus. Witht he eurpean body kit he pput in the eurpoean turn signals. He picked up some nice light autocross wheels and suspension. It looks pretty slick. I can definately pick his focus out of a crowd but it still doesn't look like he picked out parts from a magazine and slapped them on.
Oh, note to those that read autocross wheels. he will autocross the car in the future. He put in a high compression race block and header. He actually gets about the same amount of power as the turbo charged focus does with a na setup. I think I recall he was the third person in the country to have that aftermarket engine block. Of course then he has a Diablo tuned computer then

I saw a Honda the other day that was horrible. Your stereotypical ricer. Super large wing, super large coffee can exhaust tip. uhg.
I saw a very nice Acura RSX the other day that had some nice aftermarket parts on it.
