ArcadeVGA Sanyo 20EZ 19" Arcade Monitor
« on: August 11, 2004, 03:06:44 am »
I have the following setup and its working great, I used the AVRes utility to set it up with MAMEWah and most games work good, but a lot of games, mostly newer ones, like Marvel VS Capcom or XMen VS Street Fighter, or even Tempest come up with CRAZY verticle scrolling, this is obviously a refresh rate problem not a resolution problem right? Any ideas? I've tried editing the INI files made my AVRes and changing resolutions to no avail! Please help!

Also the "640X288" Resolution in MAMEWah thats suppose to give Flicker Free Resolution does not work IE. Gives me crazy horizontal scrolling!?

Ahh I seee its just tweaking the resolutions, I found 368x240 to work well with Marvel Vs Capcom and stuff its close to the original, is there anyway to redo the .INI files quicker??

Anyone know why some of the INI's I can edit to the correct resolution and they run good, but others when I put the SAME resolution, I get crazy verticle scrolling!!! GRRR
