  • I want to Build My Own Arcade Controls!!
Here's the scenario:

* I'm trying to decide between having a 4 player control panel or a 2 player control panel with joy pads providing the controls for players 3 and 4 in MAME when necessary.
* I'm going to have multiple emulators on my machine including MAME, ZSNES, GENS, EPSXE
* For the console emulators (except EPSXE) I'm going to be using hacked SNES gamepads.  They show up as JOYSTICKS to the computer (NO Keyboard Emu).
* For MAME I am using an IPAC2.
* I'm using Windows MAME with MameWah

I've done a test with using JoyToKey to emulate the standard keyboard mapping (as defined on Ultimarc's site) for player 3 in MAME.  The problem is, when I go to ZSNES, one of the buttons that's standard in MAME turns off some of ZSNES' options.

So I either need to know:
*how in MameWah to get my batch file to kill JoyToKey to start prior to loading ZSNES
OR
*how in WinMame to use actual joystick input for players 3 and 4

Maybe a batch file that kills JoyToKey and then runs ZSNES could be chosen as the emulator executable for ZSNES in MameWah?

Any thoughts?
