advancecd with d9200

i would like to try advancecd but it requires reconfiguring to use the d9200 with it (it is set up for computer monitors)  has anyone got it working with the d9200?  I've looked all over the advancemame website but it is difficult to find information on this.
my setup:


d9200
arcadevga vid card

i tried it for the heck of it (since the d9200 is both a pc and arcade monitor) but it doesn't work, it shows a screen when it is loading, but doesn't  display the game selection menu, but sound does work, so it is just something to do with the video i am sure.  thanks for any help.
