« on: August 02, 2004, 09:57:57 pm »
When finaly got mamewah up and runing to night (it's tree o'clock in the morning over here), the gamenames listed in the gameslist is the same as the rom names  :-[ (Eg tnzs (The New Zealand Story is in the gamelist as "TNZS" >:( >:( )
Guys, Please help a MameWah newbee...

I did find the answer in another post and now I have another question:
I there an easy way to remove the extra info in the game names?
From this:  "Q*Bert (US set 1)"  To this: "Q*Bert"
and from this: "R-Type Leo (World Rev 3)"   to this: "R-Type Leo"

       Thanx

You need to change the way you have the games listed under mamewah. Your probably have it ROM FOLDER ONLY when iirc you need to change it to Mame vs List info or something =) and thats if you are not running mame version later than 0.83 as the list info changed I think.

Thats from the top of my head.

(in Games List Options):

Select Custom List
Generate Custom List using Filters

Alter a filter or two (even if you change it, then change it back), and a new list will be generated.  By default the (braketed info) will be removed :)
