PacMAME Help
« on: August 02, 2004, 10:01:35 am »
OK, here's my problem, hopefully someone has an easy solution for me.  I want to put together a cab that plays all the Pac roms from PacMAME, using DOS, but I don't want the nag screens.  Sure the nag screens are easy to cycle through but they ruin the feel of the cab for me.  I want to use advpac because being based on advance mame I get a really nice display from my monitor and it is also based on an older version of MAME so it runs quite well on my PII-400 that I'm using for this cab (all except Pacmania that is).  Does anyone have a compiled version of advpac that gets rid of the nags and if so would it be possible to get it from you?  Alternatively, I tried out NoNameMAME v.79 DOS and it runs OK on the 400 but my romset is not compatible, would ClrMAME resolve that problem?  Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
