Hi all,

Very excited and many thanks to this forum and the website. It really change my life and I really build an arcade cabinet because I saw you guys really pay many effort to share the information.

I could not sleep at the last 2 days and today is the 3rd day. It was because I could not play my games through my machine and I don't know what is the problem!

Sorry, may be it's very impolite to ask questions at the first time but I really want you to give me a hand here.

I am using an arcade monitor with 15khz and the machine is made of Sega / Japan. I connect it with my jpac card and I use Arcade OS as the frontend. When I go into the main screen of Arcade OS, my arcade monitor could display clearly without any problem. However, when I select a game, the image disappears and just have some flash lines on it, other than this is nothing. When I press Escape button, no reaction.

I guess that there may be some setting wrong in my arcade OS software so could anyone tell me how to fix it? I frequency is Ok I think because I could see clearly when then menu starts. The image just got wrong when I select a game and then go into it.

The second question is the sound card problem. I bought a sound card and install the dos driver in somewhere. What I do is I go to dos window (I use WinXp) by pressing cmd, and then I run the autoexec.bat that is what the sound card driver located. After that, I run the arcade os but still not sound.

I sincerely hope that someone could read this message and be able to help me so that I could have a good sleep. You know, it's very painful when you have questions but nobody could help you. Moreover, you could imagine the painful picture is that, you have a big big arcade cabinet in front of you but just could not work!

Sincerely Yours

Paul in Hong Kong

The problem is that you're using Windows XP, and ArcadeOS is designed for DOS and using DOS Mame.
