I'm not sure about ya'll , but when I was a kid growing up in the 80's, the one thing that I loved doing when I was a kid was going down to my Local arcade and spending 10-20 bucks easily on my favorite games, when I think of the 80's as a decade, one word comes to Mind: Nostalgia, and with that in Mind I'd like to hear from the communtiy here and list your TWO favorite coin-op games (from each year) from 1980-1990, I'll start first:

im gonna cheat and go 79-89 since 1980 didnt do it for me:

79: asteroids, galaxian
80: -
81: frogger, donkey kong
82: -
83: mario bros.
84: 1942
85: konami gt (think i remember playing it), love commando nowadays
86: joust
87: 1943, skyfox
88: robocop, tetris
89: -

now im gonna really cheat and add 1990: raiden!! i had a bit of a revival of interest in the 90's and raiden was everywhere (its still in my local fish n chip shop).
having had mame for six months i thought id play raiden at the shop. you know, i like mine better!! and not just cos i dont have to feed it coins...
