Dereks Multi system machine
« on: July 29, 2004, 03:05:53 pm »
Sorry this is going to be the shortend version. I just spent a ton of time and the post errored out.

I put a xbox ps2 and computer all in one cabinet and made it so you do not have to reach inside the machine to change games or anything. I used a xarcade gaming board for controls because it has analog and then used a serial switcher to switch b/w the systems. The xbox has a 150 gb hd and the ps2 has a 10 gb hd. Monitor is a standard 25" Sony tv.

I still have to make a coin door were the serial switcher knob will be as well as joystick ports to plug in controlers for the xbox and ps2 for more advanced games like counter strike. I also have to do side art and a marquee.

For guns I am going to use my ps2 instead of act lab tv guns. With the ps2 I will be able to play Time Crisis series, Point blank series, ninja assault, vampire night, area 51, etc.

I am planning on making a foot switch for time crisis.

TOTAL COST TO DATE $1447

Does not include the money I dished out for all my ps2 and xbox games.
