some college guys made their own vending machine that serves mixed drinks. thrn other people modified the idea... it's all there.
not quite the same as a soda fountain, but it DOES serve soda ;)

Electric is included with my rent!  ;D

Reading all the stuff that is involved in this it seems like there's alot of stuff involved.  What exactly do you have that I can "come and get... for free"?  And are you truly serious, becuase I will come get it...
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

Start small,  I bought a soda siphon from this place.  Make my own soda with real sugar, none of that high fructose corn syrup crap.  You can buy the concentrates from them or use concentrated fruit juices.  I use lemon juice and lime juice.  Scoop of sugar, squirt in the seltzer and you're good to go.  Very retro.

I have 2 drink machines that I'm not using. They have dollar accepters on them and are in OK shape. It has 6 selections and holds almost 4 cases of each drink. I'll sell one of them for $400 if anyone is interested. I'm in Utah though, so you would have to come and pick it up.

It's a coke machine that dispenses 12 oz cans or certain bottles.  it doesn't take dollars.  there is no free play.  lowest i've ever got it to is 5c per can. used to put a bucket of nicklels on the top.  It has 5 selections.

it works, it lights up, keeps things cold, and dispenses properly.

it's  a little dirty from being outside for last two months, but the 10 years i owned (and I think all of its life), it's been inside.

Its about 5 feet tall.  weighs probably 200-300 lbs.

It's a dixie Narco.  I've had it repaired by one of their local reps about 8 years ago.  In order to do that, I had to report the serial # and go through a check to make sure it wasn't stolen.  It wasn't  :D

I'm serious.  You can bring me something cool in trade if you want, but at this point, it's free.

Well, that's where we go a-ridin' into town, a whampin' and whompin' every livin' thing that moves within an inch of its life. Except the women folks, of course.
