MAMEWah DOS Help
« on: July 24, 2004, 10:12:23 pm »
How do I install MAMEWah in DOS?
The setup program won't run in DOS.

Can anyone provide me with just a zip of the program?
Or instructions on how to install for DOS?

I hate installers.
(nothing screws up windows faster than a cluttered registry)

Thanks!

Hi,

I'm afriad that MameWAH is a Windows-only program and won't run at all in dos. In fact the majority of frontends around run in windows/linux/mac...

Howver, ArcadeOS is a frontend that runs in DOS. Its slightly harder to get up and running than some as its geared towards perfect Video emulation and you need to set it up to run on your gfx card.

There might be others but I'm not sure.

Yup, MAMEWah is a Windows-only application. Gamelauncher is also a dos frontend.
