monitor mounting hardware

The next thing I have to do now is to figure out how to mount my 9100.  I figured that it would just have bolts in all 4 corners and I could bolt it onto 4 mounts that I would build in the cocktail cab out of wood  - I figured wrong.

It does have a bolt in each corner, but they are obstructed by the metal chassis.  I looked at some actual arcade monitors, and they seem to have an additional L shaped piece of metal that bolts onto those 4 bolts, and then THAT piece is what gets connected to the cab.

Unfortunately I am missing those 2 long L shaped pieces, and I have no idea what they are called, (monitor L support thingies?).  Here is a pic with a monitor that does have those pieces:

Anybody know what those are or where I could get them?

this is a common way to mount an open frame shelf mount monitor like yours in a cocktail (if you have a midway style cocktail)  Use some wood to shim between the monitor and the side till its the right distance and secure it.  Use some method (i used aluminum angle and flat bar, but wood is good too) to secure it to the top of the cab and your done.

If you don't have this kind of cab this probably won't apply.

YES!  That is IT!  Thanks Whammoed, that picture is exactly what I needed to see, I will have to drill a few holes in my monitor chassis to do that, but it should work.

Thanks also rchadd, I had seen that post of Oscars before posting my question, it is a good thread, and was how I was thinking my monitor would mount, but mine has a weird chassis and a degaussing coil that is going to interfere with mounting it like that.

Sorry for thread necro, but does anyone know what this method was exactly in the photo? The link appears to be dead now and I've encountered the problem of mounting a 19" monitor in my Midway cocktail...
