Dark Monitor with Advancemame Help...!!!
« on: July 23, 2004, 03:54:22 am »
OK here's the breakdown. I'm using the latest Advancemame  with default settings on a pc monitor.  I'm using an ATI Radeon All in Wonder. When I try to load roms I can see them somewhat but the picture is really dark. I've tried changing settings about a hundred times and I still get a dark picture. I'm wondering if my video card drivers are being loading in dos or could it just be some simple configuration? Is there anyone else having a problem similar to this? Any input on this problem would greatly be appreciated.

It is possible that your monitor needs a video amp.   Additionally, it is possible that the problem is in the monitor, and would need a capkit and/or picture tube rejuvenation.
