'Arc-Eden' - Complete! - Overlay U/L'ed
« on: July 20, 2004, 05:24:08 pm »
 Hi all

After much deliberation, I decided to make a start on my cabinet.  I've been wanting to build one for several years now but have just never got around to it, with one thing or another pushing it onto the 'back burner' so to speak.  I feel like I'm cheating slightly as a total beginner and the fact that I'm using the readily available plans from the Mameroom (www.mameroom.com).  I'm also basing my control panel on GSXRMovistar's (Andy's) excellent layout...with my own custom overlay though.  Iv'e started a build diary over on my site:

www.thirteenth-planet.com

There's not an awful lot just yet as I've only just finished cutting but it's onto construction at the weekend. I really can't wait to finish (although I'm not rushing) and am eagerly looking forward to that first late night beer filled session with my mates!  I've had a couple of issues with my webhost over the past few days, but things should be ok now!

Cheers all, for any of you that have helped me with with various questions on this board already

Craig

ras2a - looking good. Where are you doing the construction? Looks like a woodshop.. What kind of theme are you doing?

Also, where did you pull those Metal Slug animated images??

Lol yeah there is a lot of pics of certain things...it's my brothers fault, he takes about 20 pics of everything (hehe).  I may remove some though...but in the interim that's why I've provided tooltips for each 'thumb' ...you can decided if you want to open it or not!  Also I'm gonna be compressing the full size images as many are HUGE!

Hiya AGGIEZ

The animated gifs were pulled from: http://www.mameworld.net/emuadvice/mrips.html

I did find another site with some really cool MSlug gifs but I can't remember now...should have bookmarked it (bah!)  If I find it I'll let you know.

Yep, it's a woodwork section of our head office based in Bolton, England.  It's good coz you're not restricted by the weather, which I know many of us are....this must be a real pain in the a**

Themes - the control panel is going to be space themed (some weird and wonderful nubulae/planets etc...not very original eh) with LCARS (trekkie fans know what I mean) linework to sorround sets of controls etc.  < I got the inspiration for this from GSXRMovistars EXCELLENT control panel.  the marquee will be in the same 'vein' as the control panel.  As for side-art I'm not too sure about this.  I don't want to make it too conspicous as my wife is already disgruntled with the fact that I'm having this thing in the back room...I may just leave it all black! (sob...we'll see though)

Just be careful with those C-clamps, they are dangerous!  ;D

Please post some artwork as soon as you can.

Well, it's better to have too many pics than wishing you had taken a picture of something while you were building it.  Looks like you have a good start.  Good luck with the project.

Hate to rain on your parade but I've already spotted a mistake that needs to be fixed before you attach the upper sides.

Your panel J (TV shelf) doesn't have the correct mitre cut on the end towards to keyboard drawer.

It needs to have the correct mitre or you'll have a nice gap going on when you try to butt your control panel up against that part of the cabinet  ;D

here's a pic to help you see what I'm talking about ... (good place to storage your quaters instead of putting them up against the monitor glass ... hehe)

Yeah I'd noticed...'very' acute angle on the edge of the mdf.  Positive I'd marked this up on my AutoCAD plans - As the angle is so small I may well have installed that panel back to front without realising (lol)...will double check.

edit: aha...knew I hadn't hallucinated it - here's my autocad plans for panel 'J' >

As I say, I'll double check to ensure I didn't install the panel in reverse in earnest...if not I'll re-mitre the edge ...or cut a fresh piece

Cheers

No point in cutting a fresh piece ... if it's not mitred at either end ... just cut the mitre ... the overall length of Panel J plays no real important part as long as it's not to long.  In your case ... that's not going to matter (the width needs to be perfectly flush though ;D ).

Basically it comes down to how much of a lip you want hanging over the back edge of the cabinet without interferring with any of the real panel installation ... assuming your bother to run the panels down that low.

Your project is looking great, have you tried the following UK website for plexi-glass:

http://www.westwardplastics.co.uk/index.php

their prices look more reasonable than B&Q  :)

Hi mikroman, thanks for the link matey.  Not had a proper look yet but will tomorrow.  Not sure what I'm looking for though as I'm not that gemmed up with plexi, acrylic etc...don't really know the difference

Cheers for the kind comments  :)

Got a lot done this weekend - the main construction of my cab is now all but done...also got the control panel basically constructed this weekend too.  It's a bit of a bugger as I'm going away on holiday to Spain in just over 2 weeks...so the rest of the build is gonna have to wait till I come back ( :( sob)...need to plough my cash into 'spends' for when I go away!  But I'll be posting pics tomorrow evening to bring you up to speed.

I hope the info helps, I'm not that experienced in plastics either, but I'm just trying to get as much information as I can before I start my own cabinet project.

I'm planning on using the Ultimate Arcade Plans II which came free with saints excellent Project Arcade book. I may modify the design slightly, but at this stage I don't really know.

I started work on my own custom frontend today, but with work I think it could take a while.

Time is precious.

It makes it all worthwhile when things begin to take shape!  I've left the speaker panel off till I get my speakers so I can test fit them

Hiya Soul

The white blocks are 'connector blocks' - you usually find them in flat pack furniture from MFI etc... (If you don't know what MFI is, it's a company famous for it's 'self assembly' furniture here in the UK).  You can buy them seperately though from most DIY stores. I've used them for added strength in addition to screwing directly into the wooden ledgers.

Hiya Soul

Thanks again for the kind comments Soul...I'm not that talented, this is the first proper woodworking project I've done (with my brothers help) and I've seen examples that FAR surpass my attempt.  But thankyou very much indeed :)

AGGIEZ - Admin buttons wise, I'm not too sure yet but I figured it's better to have too many rather than not enough (for me at least).  As for the theme of the cab, Iv'e given a mate (who is doing the stuff) a brief of the sort of thing I'm after (High tech, linework sorrounding control sets etc) and he says that he will be using a reds/oranges/flame themes.   I was also thinking of powder-coating the cab, I coated a test piece of MDF and after coming out of the oven it looked excellent but was 'overkill' for my liking...If anyone is thinking of going down that route though, it's a VERY tough finish - I threw the test piece on the floor several times and not a scratch appeared.  So, I've opted to spray and hopefull will get some of the sealing, priming and spraying done this weekend before I jet off for sunny spain :)

Whammoed - LOL!

thanks a lot guys

Just curious ... what plans did you use to build the control panel.

I'm thinking about building a two player control panel since the four player will hardly ever be fully utilized (plus it allows more graphics to be placed on the CPO  ;D )

Looks like Lusid's (or the same control panel style used on the "Project Arcade" cabinet. )

Thanks for the reply in advance  :)

(wow ... those are some big speakers ... aren't you worried about your marquee retainer interfering with them?)

JAMMA:

Sorry mate, I'd completely missed your post there.  I didn't use any plans for the control panel - took my inspiration directly from GSXRMovistar's control panel (which is superb by the way ;))...it's modified slightly though as I've provided additional length for your wrists.  The only thing I think I cocked up on is that I should have made the sides flush with the front, but once it's all nicely sanded and painted you will hardly see this (methinx).  As for the marquee retainer, I'm not gonna be using Happs retainer as it's bloody expensive at around 9 quid (

Ahoy there guys!

Im back off my hols and eager to pick up where I left off.  Well actually I've been back over a week.  Just about getting back into a sense of 'normality' after coming back.  Will be posting pics as soon as there is more progress.  Ordered a blue translucent Hi-ball trackball from Happ UK today...can't wait to test it out.

Just been checking out some of the exquisite stuff you lot have been up to in my absence....keep it up

Catch you all soon.

At last, managed to get my mate to sort me out with facilities for spraying!  The cab has been given 5 coats with Black satin enanel and it's turned out great!.  Got the cabinet at home now and it's taken up residence in it's intended room.  My wifey was complaining again now that the sheer enormity (literally) of it has dawned on her...but she's calmed down now :)

Mwahahahahh! - I knew she'd come round eventually.  Anyways, I'll take some snaps this weekend and upload.  Nearly finished the control panel too.  Not much left to do - routed out the trackball mounting plate recess and routed out for the joysticks too.  Test mounted everything and no problems.  Just need to attach the cpanel top using the piano hinge etc and get the box sprayed.

Finally my mate texted me this week saying he's nearing completion of the graphic for my panel....all coming together now - Aiming for a christmas 'release'  ;)

laters guys

Just had a taster of the control panel overlay that my friend is designing.  He's currently just finishing up with the Logo so should be ready any time soon.  I'll post piccies when done!  Looks cool so far

Okay, the Control Panel overlay graphic is now done.  My good mate has just emailed it to me.  Let me know what you guys think?

he's just doing the marquee area now which will use the same 'arc-eden' logo (but all on one line, unlike the version in the globe above)

I think credit should go in some part to GSXRMovistar as it's where the inspiration for this panel came from, cheers Andy :)

I couldn't help but notice how short your CP looks in this pic.  Exactly how high is it?
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

Not sure what you mean by 'short'.  The height is fine (From the ground) if that's what you mean.  The length of the panel is 960mm and the depth is 460mm.  Can't remember just off the top of my head how 'deep' the cpanel box is but it's fine as I've test fitted all the controls.  Does that answer your question?

Trimmed the CP overlay to match CP.  Almost finished cutting/routing the lexan for my CP.  Bought a 25" Panasonic SCART TV at the weekend.  Paid 85 quid (ex-rental).  just a sligh scratch in one place...but it's hardly visible and once the tinted glass is on, should be invisible.

I reckon it should be pretty much done in the next few weeks.  Still aiming for Christmas

Ok I promise I'll try and post some new pics within the next few days.  Still gotta post pics of the paint job etc...

Hi Craig,

Nice job so far!  Just wondering, I'm from the UK too, where did you get the lexan from? Did you go to B&Q in the end also how much did it cost?

The finish on your cabinet looks nice and smooth, did you spray paint or use a roller?

Keep up the good work, can't wait to see it finished : )

Got the Lexan (and my grey tinted glass) from a place called St George's glass...about 10 mins drive from my house (in Bolton).

As for the finish, it was sprayed.  We have a spray-booth at one of our sub-divisions at work.  My mate did it for free  ;D - Lucky, I know...but I said I'd just sort him out with a few rounds.  I think he used Black satin enamel paint (5 coats - no primer) ..  Always make sure you use a 'tack-cloth' etc to remove all residue/dust first before painting/spraying !!

Thanks for your comments mate

thanks a lot for that min...yeah it turned out better than I thought.  Finished cutting that Lexan last night and gave my mate (the very same one that sprayed the cab) the CP top and base (box) today...so, should have these back for weekend.  Can then get onto wiring and other stuff.

Thanks again folks for your kind comments.  Couldn't have done this project without you lot...so another big thanks to this brilliant community

ooh...found me some foamboard too for the TV bezel.  Well it's actually called 'foamex' (according to the guy in the sign shop).  Costing a tenner for a 26" x 29" piece (gloss black) - Hopefully this will be ok.

Thanks

Hi Motor, yeah it is familiar isn't it.  Like I said, when I first saw GSXR's sweet looking CPO, I was WELL impressed and thought if I was gonna do this project, then I wanted the overlay to be as good as Andy's.  I obviously told Andy about all this ...so he wouldn't think I'd totally nicked his design. :).  Andy was cool he helped me out with quite a few things (cheers Andy).

Anyways, glad ya like it

Need some help with the config/arrangement (of buttons) on my CP.  Here are some examples of colours configs I've come up with - anyone got any suggestions as to the colours I should go for? ..maybe I should keep colour schemes minimalistic?  I have buttons of the following colour: red/yellow/orange/black/blue

The button/controls labels (starting at top left):  player 1 credit / player 1 start / 360

All examples have too many conflicting colors at this point.  Less is more.

All black buttons would compliment the CP nicely.

All orange and red might work too.

NO BLUE buttons or trackball!!! Use a red lighted trackball if you must, but I would NOT use blue. ^_^

Yeah, thanks motorfish/Andy.  I thought it was a little GAWDY (lol).  Well, at the moment I 'have' to use a blue translucent ball for the trackball as it's the only one I have - It was bought as  I thought my mate was using a 'blue' theme...then he goes and pulls this red/orange theme on me (ARRGHH).  Anyroad I can always swap that out later.  But good suggestions, that's why I thought minimalistic, you're right guys, it's overkill with the other colours. I like the idea of black buttons for all the player1/player2 'play' buttons....cool!

At least the trackball wont look completely out of place, as there is a little blue in the Player 1 motif (lol).

Thanks for the suggestions...will post back pics when done

Cheers, Craig

Fixed the Piano-hinge to the CP.  Cut the artwork ready for controls to be mounted.  Cut the marquee art and the lexan pieces.  Cut and sprayed the carpet mouldings (to retain the marquee) and installed.  Some new piccies (I will be updating my site very shortly...) >>>

and as it's the season of good cheer ...me christmas tree :)

sorry about the image quality....bad lighting and I still haven't learnt how to use my digi-cam to it's best...It's a canon Powershot A75 (Good camera - crap photographer - lol).  More pics to follow.

Absolutely beautiful!  The cp and marquee are stunning.

Because I haven't built a cp myself;  can you tell me how you're going to attach the cpo to the surface of the panel?  Contact cement?  Sandwich it between the panel and some plexi?  Enlighten me please.

I'm about a week away from total completion of my UAII.  The wife bought me a Slikstik CO2 for Christmas, so I'll have to wait until my next project to build a cp.

Yeah, as you suggested really.  I'm just planning to sandwich it between the CP and the lexan top.  Should be ok like that as the buttons etc will hold everything secure.  Don't think there's any need to 'stick' it down with any adhesive.

Lucky bugger!  You have your wifey buying you bits for your cab for Crimbo?  All I can say is you have her well trained ;)  Nice one matey!  I'm hoping I'm not much more than a week a way myself...still think there's a possibility that I 'may' get it done for xmas.

Well, I'm being EXTREMELY adventurous and using ....wait for it....BLACK - lol.  Sorry just in a daft mood in the run up to Christmas.  Wish I wasn't at work and was at home finishing my cab off.  ;D

I know it's not that cool...I though about changing it something more exotic like orange/red (I assume you can get these colours?), but don't wanna disgruntle my missus (try and keep it neutral so it doesn't clash too much with the decor..lol)

Installed the Lexan top, sticks and buttons.  Just need to attach the Spinner/Trackball and install the T-moulding, then it's onto the wiring.  Few more pics:

Hello everyone.

@ras2a

Your Control Panel is 1st class and I am sure that many people (me included) would be very proud if we could achieve something of this standard. Well done indeed.

Would you mind telling us how much the printers charged you for doing the overlay and what was the final thickness of your panel after you added the plexi.

Regards to all,

John.

Craig, that control panel looks astonishingly good. I was a bit sceptical when you indicated that it would have a red colour scheme but now it's finished it looks great.

I have a couple of questions if you don't mind.

Where did you get the CPO printed?

Also, what brand of paint did you use for painting the sides of the cab black?

The paint I used for my first control panel (IIRC Plasticote from B&Q) was described as enamel on the can but I don't believe it actually was. It has a rubbery texture and never seems to dry properly. Next time I intend to use genuine enamel.

Thanks in advance.

That is some stunning artwork man, it is really coming together well. Now tell your woman to deal with it and get some colored t-molding on that thing! It is absolutely begging for it! I went from black to red on my crappy cab and it made it absolutely change!

Keep up the good work, Fred.

Yeah, I agree.  But for now black will have to suffice.  I think I'll get some after xmas though eh ;).  Just that all funds are now being ploughed into crimbo...you know how it is.  But I certainly do think red t-moulding would look cool.

Well, it's been a long 5 months (first posted in Jul 20th..I think), but I'm finally nearing completion of this project.  Yesterday I booked a day off work..a bit silly seeing as I've got 12 days off over Christmas, but I wanted to get things more or less done  :) - Here's what I got up to:  I had a problem with my SCART TV (purchased ex-rental) whereby red/green flickering lines appeared towards the top of the screen, so I got it replaced at the shop (no charge) with an identical model (how fortuitous)..this one works great with no probs so far.  Installed the TV in the cab along with appropriate supports to prevent movement. Also had my brother around to help me out with all the wiring and got it all done, apart from the spinner.  Setup the Car Speakers/Amp (powered from a seperate own ATX PSU).  We Jumpered the PSU so that it turns on when plugged in (green wire and any black/GND).  Speakers sound a bit 'weedy' but I assume this is because they have no enclosure.  We also knocked up a LED assembly to light the trackball.  Made several connections using Molex connectors that I purchased from CPC, simply because easier to disconnect in future.  Test installed tinted glass, looks great...just have to make a bezel now.  Also installed the CP T-Moulding.  When everything was done I fired it all up and whacked a couple of games on, man, that first blast on Gauntlet...SWEET!! ....I still can't believe that I own an Arcade cabinet !! - WooHoo  :)  I musn't fall into the trap of not finishing everything off because I can't stop playing, though  ;D

Have also installed a 54MB Linksys wireless card in the PC so I can tap into one of my servers for Rom/MP3 retrieval/Net access - Gonna let my 5yr old daughter browse the web on the cab (Bloody BBC CBeebies....ARRGGHH).

One other thing I'm not that thrilled with is the Marquee, the graphic itself looks fab, but when lit it seems to bright.  The fluorescent light behind is not fitted with a 'proper' diffuser.  Any recommendations on what I can use in it's place?..paper perhaps ?

Still to do:

- Install Spinner
- install Cabinet T-Moulding
- Install/setup MAME/MAMEWAH etc (cheers for the help Ste)
- Install/setup Arcade Jukebox or other decent Jukebox s/w
- Tidy up wiring
- Add velcro to back edge of CP ...if required
- Fix CP to cab base using L-Brackets.
- Replace blue translucent ball in trackball with red translucent (new year)
- One or two other things I can't remember

Some more photo's (quite a few):

Support blocks for TV installation:

Don't try this at home...nah but seriously, it is gonna be tidied up....no, honest!

this...

replaced by this...

ooh light thingie..

Amp goes in:

and the cones:

trackball installed:

CP T-Moulding:

Getting there at last:

Time for a blast:

Will post more pictures when the project is FULLY completed!  My sincere thanks to everyone who has helped me out on this fantastic board!

thanks mate!  Yep, almost there now...I'm dreading this damn bezel though.  At least the tinted glass will obscure it somewhat if it turns out less than satisfactory.  Nice avatar btw...what bike is it?  ZZR11 ?.  My mate used to have a GSXR1100 - proper beast!

Well, I've finally crossed the finish line, yahoo!  I have to say that building my own arcade controls has been a mixed bag of experiences/emotions.  There are times when certain stages of construction have been positively therapeutic, while other procedures have left me in a dishevelled heap...seriously (new builders beware...MWAHAHAHA!..just kiddin ;).  Anyroad, its finally over and I felt like smashing a bottle of that expensive bubbly up against one of the side panels for the maiden voyage, but thought better of it (paint finish and all that).  The first time that I powered everything up and finally played (properly) on my very own Arcade Cabinet, was nothing short of sheer bliss.  It may sound sad to some, but that moment will be remembered for a long time to come.  Trust me, when you complete your project and get to grips with the controls for that for that 'first go', you'll know precisely what I mean!  Ahh, the feel of those tender young cherry switches, the satisfying 'click' as each one is depressed beneath alternate appendages...er, ok I'll stop now  The first game I loaded up, was Track And Field (one of my all time fav's); I thought I'd have a blast against my brother and show him how it's done. The B*astard only goes and blows me out of the water, then proceeds to clock up 3 consecutive hi-scores.  Oh well, I suppose I'd better get some practise in - Bloody hell, Craig, you make it sound like a 'chore'...hmm...a 'labour of love' is perhaps a more appropriate phrase.

Looking back, there are several things that I would have done differently, but, as others have done with their project's, I'll chalk it down to experience.  On the whole, I'm exceedinly happy with how things have turned out and look forward to many years of wholesome gaming goodness.  Also, surprisingly happy with how my cardboard bezel (something I was dreading) turned out too.  While not fantastic, it certainly came out better than I had anticipated and any anomolies are hidden by the tinted glass!

My own Arcade Controls, no longer a pipe-dream, but a stark reality - Thankyou SO much to all who helped me reach my goal and for all the kind comments and encouragement I've received along this journey.  But alas, all good thing's must come to an end........until the next time ;)

Cheers, Craig

Thanks Andy, it was your CP that inspired me to make a cab in the first place!  Now I've seen your provisional cocktail cabinet designs, I want one of those too, it looks amazing! ;D  I seriously doubt my wife would accomodate me on that one though, it's been hard enough trying to convince her with this cab.  Just need a couple of bar stools now and I'm all set, Christmas has skint me completely though!

Thankyou very much indeed, darkmavis.  However if you want to see real beauty, check out Pixelhugger's/KrawDaddy's etc efforts.   Now they ARE beautiful.  I suppose it's all down to how much time/money you want to spend really!  Speaking of which, I've not actually sat down and worked out exactly how much this project has cost!

I have been doing a lot of research while planning my first cabinet and I was very impressed with the theme and the control panel that you used.  I am also building the same style cabinet, thanks to Saint for including the plans with the CD in his book, and I have reviewed your website to pick up some suggestions.   My thought is that I will have many different people playing on it and they need to understand the controls and what does what.  I was wondering if you have a JPEG file of your control panel that you would be willing to share?  Specifically what I

Well, never really worked with wood to this extent before and I'm not a DIY buff or anything like that.  Just picked things up as I went along and asked LOTS of questions in these hallowed pages :)

Lol, I don't really see anything outstanding about the cab, as I've mentioned already, there are MANY other cabs that put mine to shame - check out Minwah's super System1 cab or Pixelhugger's mission control (although not finished).  Then of course there is Krawdaddy's behemoth: The Gold Mine.  It just dends on how much time you want to put into it really.  Good luck with everything and thankyou very much for your kind comments!  It's this sort of feedback that encourages me to start another project (not yet though...phew ;)

The UAII plans can be found Here

They're around $30...think they accept PayPal IIRC.  Alternatively, maybe I could sell you mine.

Will post more pics of the cab this weekend, took some more last night

Hi mvaughn,

Wow, thanks man...appreciate you're comments!

The button's/controls were sufficient to hold the lexan down to the CP.   In addition, the T-Moulding also plays it's part in holding the lexan down.  And that's it, no other magical trickery or special hidden devices  :D

cheers,

I think the reason so many people love your cabinet.  It shows that you took the time to plan and think ahead before you started building.

The quality of the end result of any project is determined by the time invested in its preparation.

Go on, do it ;)

I think red LED's would help make the trackball redder...but they don't tend to be as bright as white or other coloured LED's.  Hopefully super bright one's should be enough to give it a good glow.

Well, just received the replacement ball (bloody quick delivery).  Just spoke to my brother too, he say's he has some 'tri-colour' super-brights, that can be set to 3 dif colours or made to 'morph' between them.  I shall get back with the obligatory pics when it'd done!

and now it's dinner time....nosh is calling

Installed the new 'red' trackball (its deffinitely orange this bloody thing).  Lit it (white super-brights)....again, it's most deffinitely orange.  Gonna get those red LEDs and see how I go on.  Also, setting up a space cambridge soundworks sub in the cab for that extra oomph!  I still (lol) aint had chance to test the christmas tree lights out, but will post pics this week

Mvaughn recently asked if I would be willing to share my cabinet artwork, well it would be pleasure after all the help Ive received from this board.  The artwork can be found Here. (Right-click, save as)

I'll add the original Photoshop version (minus controls layer) later.

Here's a pic of the red trackball - Although once again, it's blatantly orange as others have pointed out...must check out those red LEDs

Cheers

Wow, nice work and attention to detail. I had originally intended to just use black formica for my control panel but seeing your overlay makes me want to investigate doing an overlay of my own. I'd love to be able to do a Fight Club themed cabinet with "Jack" on one side of the control panel and Tyler on the other. I'm sure I'll have come questions later when I try to get my own project off the ground.

Edit: I'm also planning to use the UA II plans for my cabinet. It would be neat if there was one place where people could post tips or modifications to those plans since they seem very popular.

Ras2a: I don't just like..I'm in love..I emailed about the control panel. I'd change my whole panel just to have an overlay like that.

I am doing my CP graphics at the moment and have invested about 50 hours into my current design and I still see no light at the end of the tunnel.

It's been slower for me because I am also a very novice Illustrator user and learning most things as I go. But the great news is that I am enjoying the process.

One of the art critique replies I got suggested I check out your CP. I have seen it lots of times before and thought it was good but now after really studdying it, well now it has just blown me away.

Said it before to you ras, bloody great job.

Right, sorry for the mega delay in getting this up.

EDIT: If you require the overaly, please PM me as downloads have knocked my website bandwidth quota over limit

Be warned, it's BIG (around 26MB).

Note: The 'text' layer has not been included, but I've left this off for your own customization purposes.  Hope some of you can make use of it...  As for the side-art, that's being done later this year.  I'll upload that, when done.

Cheers

Craig

I downloaded it earlier this morning and saw that when I compared the photoshop image to that of the picture you took after it was printed and installed, that the artwork looks much richer and warmer than what you see on your screen. Were you supprised when the CPO turned out that way?

Aha, Well...I actually doctored the 'photo' as it was to be included on Minwah's site.    However don't worry, the 'actual' overlay turned out exquisite!!! :)

I'm having to sell my Arc-Eden cabinet (funds required for my 'other' hobby). If anyone is interested in making an offer, please let me know:

Arc-Eden

Apologies for adding this here - figured that not as many people may read the buy/sell thread...

It looks like all of your pictures links are broken.  You'll sell it better if you fix those.
