Dual Strike software (changing schemes)
« on: July 20, 2004, 03:22:42 pm »
After hearing about the Dual strike hack for months and months, I finally decided to use one in my next project (sit down driving cab).

I discovered that the dual strike can be set to work like a joystick or a mouse. After some initial testing, it works pretty good as both.

I'm planning to hack the dual strike to a steering wheel (270) and use it and the buttons to control the FE and games.

So, I'd like to be able to change schemes on the fly (without having to use the windows interface to do it).

I can change the current scheme manually (file copy), but the dual strike software doesn't recognize it unless I enter the setup screen.  If I reboot, it does recognize it.

So, is there a command switch or other program that will cause the dual strike software to change schemes?

As a last resort, I can always reboot to swich between 360 and 270 games.  I'd rather be able to switch shemes on the fly.

TIA,

Rocky
