I'm looking for a program that will move roms to specific subdirectories based on categories.

Howard, I thought you wrote a program to do this. Did you? Does it keep parent/clones together?

I've got something like that built into Kymaera. It's called the "Resource Copy" on the game list creation screen. Currently, the button is disabled though

Basically, it allows you to take a catagorized game list, and copy all the roms/ snaps/marquees/etc... from the source directory to any destination directory. I created it to help me copy over some games and images to my Cocktail cabinet.

I'll re-enable it for the next version of Kymaera.
