BYO Star Trek Enterprise Interior
« on: July 15, 2004, 07:07:32 pm »
There are "Trekkies" that go to conventions in full costume, but this guy from the UK went further.  He turned his entire studio apartment (one bedroom flat) into something right out of the Starship Enterprise (STTNG).  :o   See this article here.  There's also some more pics here.

He's also selling his apartment for $1 million (US), so if you want to live in Hinkley and have a million lying around, go for it!  (Honey, Where did I place that spare million?  I was in my wallet just the other day ... ;D ) The ebay auction is here. I doubt that anyone is going to bite on this (but you never know).

I'm still wondering if MAME is installed on any of those LCARS consoles? Hmmm....  8)

this has been around for ages, a year or two at least..... not surprising when he's asking that much for it.

I know UK house prices are mad at the moment, but that's  just ridiculous......

The pad is 500 square feet? That's not even the size of a small livingroom. How would you put a starship to space dock in that?

OH thank god....
with my ever growing collection of video game T-Shirts I was beginning to worry that I was the biggest loser on the planet.

I'd like to know how he did some of that lighting thought, it would look cool in a home theater.  Wonder if I can duplicate it with plexiglass, a router and a florescent tube.  Where the hell is macgyver when you need him?
