List of BYOAC members by state
« on: July 14, 2004, 03:41:01 pm »
I was wondering if it would be possible to make a sticky, so people that would like to put there info of where they live at,could do so. For example... Lists all 50 states, then members go in and select their state and will be able to see all the members that are in the area. That way if your looking for some help from a fellow MAMEer ( and they would like to help your sorry --I'm attempting to get by the auto-censor and should be beaten after I re-read the rules-- )you would know who to contact. Of course this would all be volentary for members,Im pretty sure some of you are in the "Witness Protection Program." I know that you can check someones profile for their location...but that would take a while to check everybodys. Just a thought.

You mean like the BYOAC people finder.  *Hint: look up*^^^^^^^^^^ or barring that, hit Ctrl+F and type BYOAC People Finder then hit enter.

I've tried adding my details to the BYOAC People Finder a couple of times, but it never seems to work for me. I know there's a LOT more than 4 of us in Massachusetts too.

I don't agree with the dividing system used for TX on the People Finder... It comes close to chopping a couple of major metropolitan areas in half! I don't mean to complain, but whoever made that thing wasn't thinking really hard about what they were doing...

I have the exact same issue, also!  I have added my info to the BYOAC People Finder several times, only to have it later disappear.  :-\

Well now I dont feel so foolish for posting this. Maybe somebody can address the problem and get it fixed. I have added my info to the list and it has not been updated as of yet.

MrArcade posted in a seperate thread (Website Discussion?) that he's been away, and was looking for someone to take over the mantle.
