HI,
I checked the Happs site and the VisionPro supports the following resolutions:
640 x 480 31KHz 60Hz
720 x 400 31KHz 70Hz
640 x 480 37KHz 75Hz
800 x 600 37KHz 60Hz
...no 15 frequency, not sure about saving setting across resolutions either. It would make a good 27" VGA/SVGA monitor but without support for native arcade resolutions you may be sacrificing authenticity.
How much of a visual difference will there be running a game say at 800x600 using hardware stretch on an arcade monitor as compared to original resolution?
The scanlines and other qualities of an arcade monitor should be there.. but how would the actual picture look?
It would be nice to have the 800x600 for PC games.. but at the same time is it worth having it if a D9200 at native resolution would look much better than a vision pro at 800x600.
Does anyone have any screenshots of an arcade game running in native resolution, as well as a hardware stretched resolution on the same monitor? IE you could run pac-man on a d9200 stretched to 640x480.
