i went to the movie theatre last night and they have a tiny arcade. they had ms. pacman and i played 2-3 games while waiting for my movie. there was a fast and slow mode for ms. pacman. i only played the fast, and it seemed normal to me. anyone know how slow the slow is compared to the fast?

it's SLOW.  Slow is the way it was originally released though.  The speed chip is a hack, although it's the one most commonly seen.

fire it up in MAME and that should be the speed.  Unless you have cheats enabled and the speedup cheat "dip switch" set to ON.
