New power supply?
« on: July 13, 2004, 01:40:07 pm »
Hi there,

I bought an arcade machine couple of weeks ago and it has a 27" WG monitor in it (25k7191).

The power supply inside the case is a LT-201W (Lighten power supply).  It, as the name suggests is a 200watt supply.  The PS has an on/off switch on the side, but as far as I can tell it on has DC outputs (+5,-5,+12,-12 and grnds).

Im wondering if i need to get a new power supply in order to wire in an on/off switch for my cab/light.  If so, what sort of power supply should I be looking at?  Thank you for your time.

No, you'd wire a switch in line with the mains power.
