DragonCade Marquee
« on: July 13, 2004, 01:31:39 pm »
Hey all, a long time ago I posted the control panel overlay for my DragonCade. Well, I fairly recently received the marquee for my cabinet and is mounted and looking good.

Here's a link to the thread of my project over in Project Announcements: http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=10;action=display;threadid=21772

And here's an obviously smaller version of the art used for the marquee. Just wanted to share...

Thank you very much. It sort of matches the control panel overlay in a way. If you check out my cabinet website at http://webpages.charter.net/altman/dragoncade you should be able to see pictures of the actual printed artwork instead of just the reference image.

I had fun with lots of filters as you can see. Also had to create the lightning and the fire.  :)

I know, it looks like you used the infamous inverted cloud technoique for the lightning.

Yuppers. Well, it is one of the easiest and most effective ways of creating lightning in PhotoShop...in my opinion. Used it to also create the lightning on my CPO.
