Pachislo slot machines
« on: July 10, 2004, 07:41:02 pm »
Anyone have one of these things?  I'm wondering if they are prone to breakdown, and just what size they are...from pictures I can't tell if they're a hefty size or tiny like a gum dispenser.  They look kinda fun though, be a nice addition to a gameroom I'd think (?).

I have one and have had it in my game room for the last year or so. So far I have had no probs whatso-ever with it.

Mine is 18.5" W x 32"H x  15" W and is the "Big Action" model which is kind of like a Hay Wire machine which on certain pays, will pay you repeatedly. It's a great addition to the game room and is very affordable.

I can post pics if you'd like.

I believe they are about 30" high by 20" wide. I strongly suggest buying a membership in the www.pachislocity.com site. They have a tremdeous amount of information/modifications/accessories not available anywhere else. It's only $3 a month to join.

Thanks guys, I never thought of doing the ole search for articles (doh!).  They look pretty good in a gameroom, so maybe I'll pick up a couple.  I agree with some of the posts that they wouldn't be much fun unless they were played for real cash, so maybe I'll sell tokens at parties and do the payout out of my pocket, if someone wins... can you change the probability of winning?  ;)

Yes, odds setting can be changed to an extent as described in the manuals at pachislocity.com
