My dealings with WICO....

Ive heard mixed reviews about Wico and the only reason i ordered from them was cause they had the cheapest Popn Music buttons that you dont have to bulk order. My order was a simple, 9 jumbo buttons, 2 normal. I called the order in last thursday, my area is 2 day ground shipping for UPS ground from them so I went with that. the order went out friday....

Tuesday comes, no package by 4oclock. i call wico they said it went out and i should have got it, he said yeah we sent it to 'address' and im like, ummm you mean SUMMERhill not SOUTHhill right... well they had my street mixed up with a street that doesnt exsist, and my last name was spelled wrong too. So they call UPS tell them to deliver it to my real address, they said the latest it should get there thursday. Well nothing on thursday, now a week from my order date. Now its friday past 4oclock and the order STILL isnt here now im pissed, i call wico up and talk to the same guy, im like look i dont want to deal with this back and forth crap, you call UPS tell them to deliver it saturday delivery to my house, its probably going to cost extra and you should pay for it since you caused this in the first place.

The guy is like umm ok... let me call UPS and ill call you...

so thats where i am now, pissed off, no popn music buttons, and im dying to play damnit!  >:( >:( >:(

Why does this NOT surprise me? This is exactly why Capitol Amusement (my former employer) stopped using Wico. Capitol had been using Wico as their primary parts supplier since 1958!

Sorry to hear about your problems.. Hopefully they show up today.

I've been meaning to order a set of Pop'n buttons, but lack of experience with international shipping and an online order form which requires you to somehow know your shipping cost in advance have prevented me thus far. I was planning on calling to make the actual order, but was hoping the online form would atleast give me a shipping estimate.

Did they give you any details on package dimension or weight over the phone? If not, could you possibly post some estimates once it shows up? It would be nice to know so I can get a few shipping quotes of my own before calling.

Wico must have a lot of disgruntled employees who are trying to sabotage the company.  It's hard to believe that any company can screw up every order.

btw i finally got my order and they got the popn buttons right, but they sent me 2 white pushbuttons instead of black.... im not even gonna bother trying to get the right color from them. thats my last order with wico

I agree. To hell with Wico. They used to be great but now they are the absolute rock bottom. Maybe they should just sell their stuff on ebay. ::)
