Mess Screen Squeezed? (Atari2600 Games)
« on: July 06, 2004, 02:24:20 pm »
Running mess with the a2600 binaries and all of the screens seem "squeezed" as if they were verticaly oriented.  What am I missing?  Thanks.

Try changing hws (hardware stretch) or clean stretch options.
Command line:
-nohws
-hws
Or if you are using the gui, just right click atari2600 and change the properties.

Haven't really looked in on MESS in a while.  Is it still lagging behind some of the dedicated emulators?  I run z26 for my Atari emulation.  (Actually, I do most of my Atari gaming on my actual Atari VCS console, cuz there's nothing like one of those original Wico bat top sticks that get hard to hold when your hands are all sweaty from playing for hours.)
