Horizontal Size question
« on: July 04, 2004, 08:10:02 pm »
Hi all,

I have a quick question that some of you experts maybe able to answer =)

I have a 20" TOEI old arcade monitor. I am running arcadevga, jpac. I have windows set to run in 640x480.

My question is about the screen. When I set it to this (640x480) inside windows, since I am running windows xp the bottom of the task bar at the far right (where the clock is) is some what cut off and over hangs on the right hand side. I have adjust my monitor to best fit the picture and it seems I can only move the entire picture using the horizontal position dial.

Is there a Horizontal resizing option out there ? I want to be able to shrink the screen horizontal and not just move the entire picture.

It affects and games that have details on the right hand side and also mamewah as the right hand side is a little cut off.

Sorry 1 other question while I'm at it, on the left hand side of the screen its concaved out (not straight). So up the top left corner and bottom left it curves in and anything that is in that section of the screen also curves and its more annoying than anything. I cant see anywhere to adjust this ? or as I think does it require repair ? Cap kit maybe ?

Thanks
