Scary email?
« on: July 03, 2004, 12:17:35 am »
I had seen an email a few years ago that you could send to all your friends and it told of a ghost story and told you to click on a link and watch for this "ghost" and turn your speakers up so you might be able to hear it too.

When you click on the link, you would be watching this still picture of a kitchen for about 20 seconds and then a nasty looking ghost face appered with a LOUD scream and would scare the pants off anyone watching.

I can't find anything like it, does anyone know where I can find it or anything like that?

I'm glad you brought this up, there was one I saw about a year ago... same type of thing, but the ghost came out of a black doorway in the back of the room.

I think it was an animated .gif

still scared the crap out of me though, lol

I just came accross another one of these things, oh wait, if I tell you it's one then it isn't scarry though...  Oh well.

CLICK ME
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

I saw one that was disguised as one of those dumb quiz things about identifying the subliminal messages hidden in advertising.  It shows a few pictures of ads for a moment, and then highlights areas or rotates them to show hidden things in the picture.  Then the last one says that it's a bit harder to notice, so they'll give you more time to study it in detail.  After a few moments, pictures of aborted fetuses and suicide jumpers start flashing on the screen with this horrible screaming.

I abosultely, positively hate these things.

I saw on that was a powerpoint slide about ghosts...at the end, is the scene of a witchs execution or something like that...it was a nice pieceful day in the woods blah, blah.  Anyhow at the end you were supposed to see if something was out of place or some nonesense.  Right when my nose was less than an inch away from the screen (need new glasses) that dammed ghost popped up.  Scared the crab out of me.

I hate those things.
