DVI or VGA to component dongle?
« on: July 01, 2004, 06:27:07 pm »
I have a question:

How does the DVI to component dongle compare to the VGA to component dongle?  I ask this because I see alot of talk in the s-video vs. component thread about the DVI, but very little about the VGA.  Are they effectively the same?

Thanks!

Coop

Yes, I believe they are the same thing.  It just depends on which dongle your card supports.  Check out ATI's site to make sure you get the correct one.

Thanks Witch.

I had read ATI's info page and it looked they were the same basic unit.  I just wanted to make sure before I blow 40 bucks!
