Oh my God!

That dude was just firing it off in his backyard and he looked about 15.

I'm going to build one and fill it with Freon so I can combat his super-heat powers with my super-ice powers!  Plus I'll have a much lower chance of blowing myself to kingdom come.  And not in a good way.

Kids today make me proud.

I remember the fond memories in my youth coming up with interesting ways to blow myself up like making CO2 grenades (CO2 cartridge, M80, glue, and BB's).

Next generation will have home made napalm.

Looks pretty straight forward. I'd be quite leery of using PVC though, it tends to shatter into wicked shrapnel when it bursts under pressure.

This strikes me as a really stupid thing to do...

I have to admit, though, it's something I probably would have tried when I was 12 or 13.  I tried pretty much everything else fire or explosion related.

Ive made napalm. Thank god for the anarchist's cookbook.

not to be too picky, but a friend showed me the anarchists cook book a while back. it seemed very out of date and full of factual errors. for instance, real napalm is made with NAPthalene and PALMitic acid for the gel. petrol can then be suspended in this gel. great for sticking to children. is this what you used?

cool flame thrower though. although as one poster remarked 'he will no doubt be investigated by homeland security'
and i think by now he has probably set himself on fire...
dont get me wrong, im no wowser. wasnt that long ago that me and the lads were making orange guns from pvc. when a friend jammed in an orange that was too big in it, the cap blew off and and bruised his hand. so i can confirm what tailgunner says about the pvc shattering when it explodes. i stopped firing that thing like a bazooka after that...

And yes, the Aranchist's Cookbook that's been circulating around the internet for some time now is dangerously inaccurate.  Not just in naming (The Gelled Gasoline they call Napalm works much the same way as napalm, even if it doesn't have the same ingredients), but in procedural instructions.  You're far more likely to blow yourself up trying to make nitroglycerin the way they describe than actually making nitroglycerin.  They tell you to mix it in a blender!  Unstable Nitroglycerin in a blender!  The Anarchist's Cookbook is a one way ticket to a Darwin Award.

Also, the 10,000 cocaine diet would probably cost about 100k these days.

The AC reference was shameless plugging. Ive never made napalm, but I enjoyed reading it. I was reminded when I saw my zombie survival guide next to my laptop. I know that t will kill you, more likely than the other person, but it's fun to read.

as everyone outside america always say "only in america"! what the hell were they doing using gunpowder? that stuff is touchy with static. and pvc plumbing would probably be a good one for generating static...
