for 3d0, the first 2 or 3 army men was good. then it got horrible. remember sarge's heros? I think this is how megaman is going to end up.
Well, it's saying quite a bit that you see Megaman's downfall as something still to come. He's about twenty years old afterall. Anyway, the last couple Megaman games released for the GBA have been great. The aniversary recently released for the consoles is great too, but I guess you don't have to count that (even though aniversary compilations are screwed up more often than not). At any rate, he seems to be doing alright.
At its best Army Men has been a good idea that fell just short of being implemented right. At worst (and fairly consistently) the series has just plain sucked.
But seriously, Viewtiful Joe, Resident Evil 4, Onimusha, Devil May Cry, Legend of Zelda: Oracle (both games), Breath of Fire, Maximo v. Army of Zin.....
....are you sure you didn't maybe jump the gun a bit. "Crapcom" isn't just getting lucky here and there. They're still releasing great games with regularity....to the tune of quite a few every year. And the vast majority of their games, if they aren't great, are still at least decent.
I think you must be out of your element here. If you think Capcom ain't releasing anything worth while these days, you simply haven't been playing anything Capcom's been releasing.
