Yup yup thats right , i gots me a operation wensday.

For all that dont know , im "legally blind" at 20 . Had glasses since iwas 3 , had cateracts taken out at 5 , Diagnoisted at 12 with glocoma ( yes i can legally purchase weed and legally smoke it )

So now there operating on my right eye on wensday , "releasing the pressure juices"

So i must now go to pre-op and to all those wounderful tests

I'm pretty sure being legally blind entitles you to a giant arcade monitor and somehow it will be tax deductible * (always consult with a tax professional -- this is not real tax advise)

it's a good reminder of some of the things we take for granted...

I was almost in your situatiion.

I had a bone marrow transplant last may/june (03) . on christmas day my eyes were stinging and no matter what I did I couldn't releive the pain . I went to my oncologist a few days later and low and behold I had graft vs. host disease of the eyes (no it's not a vs. video game either).

Basically what happenend is my tear glands got damaged from my transplant ,I now producce very little tears and if it weren't for a Dr. Perry Rosenthal in Brookline MA .I wouuld be legal blind with a few years. Dr. Rosenthal is the ONLY person in the world making these special scelera contact lenses.

wow thats pretty lucky you were able to fix that. makes you think about the stuff you take for granted... i would never be able to see my girlfriends boobs again!!

well guys i feel good enough tooo type. Im being serious when i say ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- went wrong during the surgury and now im partically blind in my right eye, I can only see shadows and lights. The good news is that they says its like a dirty car window . So ubless i can get better by wednsday im going back into surgury , this time there passing me all the way out and fooling around with my eye. YOu guys this basically with determine my life ahead of me , even though i pray to god i will not be blind in this eye forever , i ca not tell the fuiture. .
