Where can I get a bezel for my Toshiba 27A33 television?

I've heard that Happ's charges you an arm and a leg for shipping but I'm pretty sure if you call them you can opt for cheaper shipping.  On top of that I live close to one of their warehouses so that might make it even a little cheaper for me.

With that said, I'd be interested in a nice quality bezel for my television.  It's a Toshiba 27A33.  I don't think it's a flat screen, but it's not very round... I'm really not sure.. (anybody know if it is a flat screen?)

Will any of the bezels at Happ's work for me?  Do I need to get a bezel from someplace else?

Well, I've found out that this TV is slightly rounded but not by very much.  I'm not sure if there is a "standard" curve for rounded TV's or not so I'm still not sure if the Happs 27" bezel will work with this TV.

Anybody find anything on this...?

I used the Happs bezel on a 27A33 and it works great - pics are here

I really don't recall shipping being that expensive on that order.

Did you have to remove the case from the TV?  Did it fit right over the glass without much of a gap?

From the picture it looks great!!

edit:  Can you confirm it was this happcontrols.com part? (27" Monitor Bezel, Black Plastic -- part number 49-0106-00)   NOT the flat screen one, right?

I'm at this same juncture myself with the next iteration of the Toshiba model (27a34).  So which is the preferred bezel--the round one or the flat one?  Looks like the one posted here is the flat one. 

I'd also like to know if the user decased the TV.  Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I've just checked my previous Happ's orders and this is what I ordered:

1    49-0123-00    BEZEL, MONITOR F/25" BLACK PLASTIC OD 25"x27" #701

It looks like it's the rounded bezel (and NOT the flat bezel).

Regardless, I'm VERY happy with what I have and my smoked gray glass makes it look even better.

Thanks, guys, for the input.  I had also emailed Happ and they gave the same advice--although the Toshiba 27a34 (or 27a33) is almost flat, they still suggest the standard rounded bezel (part # 49-0106-00).

FYI, beware the shipping cost from Happ.  All I purchased was the bezel and some marquee retainer and shipping is just over $40.  They don't tell you ahead of time (during the checkout process) either--you go through and confirm the order and they tell you the shipping cost later once its shipped.

Had I known it was going to be this painful cost-wise, I would've just made my own or kept looking locally.

If you call them to order it (or immediately after you order online) they can changed the shipping to something cheaper (USPS or something).  It only saves like $15 or so if I remember correctly, but thats still a lot of money to save...

I use the 49-0106-00 and it works good.   You can still see the TV ever so slightly so what I did was get a piece of smoked Plexi and paint a bezel on it with dull black model paint to where you could not see the TV I also painted my Happ Bezel the same color so it all blends in.   I am very happy with it.   People have told me it looks like it all came with the cabinet.   Sorry I don't have Pics.

Well, just got the bezel in the mail from Happ and it was bent a little.  Looks like this happened during transit, as UPS probably put something heavy on top.

Anyways, hats off to Happ--I called them and reported the damaged item and they're sending out another one.  No hassle, and polite customer service.  Let's hope UPS doesn't put their "stamp" on the second one.

for what it is worth.... the happs flat bezel is "perfectly" flat - if your tube has any curvature at all do NOT get the one for flat monitors.....

i have a neotec 27 with the phillips tube - which is "supposedly" flat... bought the bezel in advance and ended up eating 30 dollars on an incorrect purchase.
