Well...yeah.  For a long time, this stuff was considered junk.  You couldn't give it away.  JAMMA cabs went for like $50 for fully working games, and they'd toss classics on the burn pile.

Consoles?  Fu-ged-abou-dit.  Commanded measley prices.

Now that this stuff has come back in style, it's commanding high prices.  I only wish I'd gotten into games ten years ago, when I had money, and did nothing except piss it away.

But here's a foresight - what are we throwing away today that's worth money 10 years from NOW?

Got to be a trend here.  What was popular with 18-25 year olds 7-10 years ago that they will pay for when they are 35-45?

Does that mean it is about time for slot cars to come back big?  About 20 years ago, I spent most of my senior year of high school racing HO scale slots at the local hobby shop.

Still have all my stuff from when I was a kid...should be coming back soon, TMNT, GI Joe and Transformers are back....TYCO can't be far behind  ;D

I just bought a HO slot car set for 5.00 at a yard sale--still new in box although the box was crushed--They are awesome to race--Saw another one last weekend--68FT of track! --40$ but the missus put her foot down before i could get my wallet :-[  ah well leaves me more room for stuff she doesn't see me sneak home  ;D
its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...
