QuickRes in a batch file?
« on: June 24, 2004, 01:24:51 am »
I'm using an ArcadeVGA with a 15KHz monitor in my MAME cabinet.

I find myself constantly using the QuickRes icon in the system tray to toggle between
640x288x32 for playing games in MAME and
640x480x32 (virtual desktop in Win 2k) for surfing the web and doing "windows stuff"

It's a pain to have to scroll through the list of all the different resolutions in QuickRes to get to the two at the bottom that I need.

Is there some way to call QuickRes from a batch file so I can make desktop shortcuts for the specific resolutions I want?  Or better yet, one batch file that toggles back and forth between the two resolutions each time it's run.

Anyone else having this problem or is it just me?
