Light Guns - Game specific issues
« on: June 22, 2004, 03:33:40 pm »
I just got an Act-Labs light gun and am using Mamewah and analogmame.  Here are some of the game specific issues or comments I have.  Please feel free to comment or add your own!

1) Lethal Enforcers 2:
With Analog+ 0.83.2, the fire still won't register, but the accuracy is perfect.  In Mame, Mame32, the fire button will register, but the gun won't calibrate.   The latest ver was supposed to fix this, but on mine it didn't.  Is anyone else still having the same problem?

2) Golly Ghost won't calibrate.

3) Terminator wouldn't calibrate until I used the Terminator 2 NVRAM file from http://retroblast.com/files.html.  Thanks Kevin!  Does anyone know where to get other working nvram copies???

4) House of the Dead 2 requires me to choose "NO" on using direct3d on secondary adapter and "Yes" on the primary.  Has anyone seen this or have an idea of by-passing this through Mamewah (sending a command line option)?

5) Virtua Cop 2 works great.  If you look at the Act-Labs forum, there is a site with a free download.  I have no idea if the download is legal or not.
