FEEDBACK: My Captain Americade Marquee
« on: June 17, 2004, 11:17:34 am »
I was trying to scan an Alex Ross Captain America poster that I had but had to do it in pieces. When I brought up all the scanned pieces in Photoshop and put them together, I wasn't too pleased with the result.

Sooooo, I fooled around with PS and this is the marquee that I came up with. The background is the same background I used for my CP overlay so the cab should match pretty nicely. I'm definitely an amateur, so be nice. What do ya'll think? What do you suggest I get this printed on?? Kinkos mentioned they have high gloss paper and backlit paper.

I would go with a different looking captain america, maybe one from the capcom series. Definetly change the font, looks too fancy I would use a font similar to the one the dollar bill, more government and blocky?

Actually, I'm changing it up completely. Know where I can find some vector images of Captain America?

Nah. Thanks for the link, but that cap looks a little on the chubby side for me.

I like the idea.  But don't you need to do the Red white and Blue capt text from the comic book to make it look right?

Fredster. What font are you talking about. There are several that I've seen. My wife really likes this font, so I may have to stick with this one...

http://cp-systems2turbo.emuunlim.com/scripts/sg_wallpaper/albums/Marvel_Vs_CAPCOM_2/mvsc2_s1_1280x1024_46.jpg - Capt America wallpaper from Marvel vs Capcom 2.  It is the same as SNAAAKE's image, but higher quality.

EDIT: Looks like you cannot link directly to the images, so navigate the site to grab the wallpaper.
