Why not just think what order you want them in before setting them all up!

Not to hijack this thread but I have a simple question.  I'm sure i'm missing something but, is there anyway to delete the 9 or so empty emulator slots?  When I cycle through emulators it goes to the ones I have nothing setup in.  I've tried deleting the layout files.

Emulator Settings -> Misc Settings -> Number of Emulators to Display

I wonder how hard it would be to add the ability to change the order to mamewah setup? (and would the author approve!)

Shouldn't be difficult at all...actually it wouldn't be too difficult for me to to it, tho I don't know how I would do the interface part - maybe you could pick two emulators from a list to swap them or something...

I just don't consider it a neccesity (sp?), plus I have a few cool things I'd rather be working on :)

It should be possible to do. But I am very busy in the real world atm so it may be in mamewah before mamewah setup  ;D

I would not consider it a "neccessity" either, more of a "convience" for lasy people!(like me). I would think it would work better in mamewah setup. Maybe add a tab at the top that say" order" or "emulator order" where they can be moved around by name.
Just a thought.

Next time somebody says something would be easy don't beleive them ::)

Started this and as I was doing it I realized that not only have I got to rename the config files but you have to do the LST, FAV and FTR files, not to mention the Emulator Layouts, Custom List Layouts and all the Logo's, No-Snaps, Artwork Specific no-snaps and Sound files, and anything else that I have missed out. :o

Anyway I've managed to create an emulator orderer. It's very simple clck on the emulator you wish to move then click arrows to move it up/down and to Top/Bottom of list, when your happy 'Set Emulator Order'. It should then go through all your files and rename them.

Thanks for the hard work.

It's not on the site yet. I need to finish of a few things first. I'va added stuff for custom list layouts and Pics, added the ability to remove games from the game list and I am trying to sort the program so it doesn't require the FM20.DLL file anymore.

I could compile it for someone if they wish to test it for me. Allthough there may still be some bugs in it ::)

I'd be glad to test it for you. I have used your program for about 6 months, I haven't use every feature but I feel I am relatively familiar with it.

Sorry to hear your from France. ;D
