Da Beginnings of DaCab...

I'd just like to toss my cab project into the mix now that its underway.  The sites still pretty rough, and had a long way to go, but let me know what you think!

Not sure where it all started, back when I was looking for a domain name to register, all the ones I liked were taken, and some of the guys at the company I worked at just refered to me as "Dat' Guy" (they were all newfies). So DatPlace.com was born.

Ever since then, everythings been dis' or Dat' so until I come up with something better, DaCab's gonna stick.

I had one suggestion from a couple of friends that suggested calling it "Fun And Games 2004" until I realized they were thinking of a Marquee with "FAG2004!".

Yeah...... no, I don't think so.....  :P

I've seen some pretty great Cab names out there, I just hope I can come up with something half as good as some peoples!

I'm in the same boat.  It's difficult to come up with a good name that hasn't already been taken.  I guess I don't have to make a concrete decision until I want to print artwork.

I've been bashing away at the cab this last week....
With a pregnant wife, and work lately I haven't had that much time, but a couple of orders coming in from Ultimarc, and Act-Labs kicked me in the butt..
I've added to the cabinet repair and finishing page, added mouse hacking information, and should have the CP construction and finishing pages up in the next couple of days. The CP came out exactly as I had hoped, and looks just like the drawings!
Take a look and let me know what you think! I should have the color fading trackball circuits and illuminated player buttons information up in the next couple days as well!
