White Screen Hell!
« on: June 10, 2004, 06:04:27 pm »
Hi there

I'm having problems with my Taito Space Invaders cocktail cab. All I get on power up is a white screen, perfect size, no squishing or jittering .. just a white rectangle. I had a guy come and take a look for me, and he said it was a PSU problem, so off it went to have a complete rebuild, and was fully tested and rebuilt. Plugged it back in .. same problem, so the PSU is not part of the occasion. I think the boards are okay, as they worked fine before and I've no reason to think otherwise (these were tested with a multimeter).

The test switch / coin mech do nothing and theres no sound or activity at all. The monitor just sits there .. silently mocking me :(

Any ideas?
