Speaking of Arcadefx, where did your great skin for Arcadefx go?  I checked the links, and it seems it is no longer there.  I'd like to get a copy if possible.

I can't speak for Ed but judging from the conversations I've had with him this is probably what has happened....

Ed doesn't make a public fe, he merely releases his fe to the public.  What this means is the only time he works on it is when he sees a software need for something in his setup and needs to add to it.  Ed also runs a very Spartain setup.  He uses a standard vga monitor and I think a hotrod and only runs mame.  He also likes to play mp3's on his cab.

Right now afx will launch mame very well and has an included jukebox.  So I'm guessing, at least for the time being, afx is a finished project.

I'm kind of curious as to what you would want added to it.  As I've said, me and Ed have had a few conversations in the past, and unless his thinking has changed this is what I can tell you.

Afx will probably never support more emulators internally.(You can use my wrappers to get around that.)  Ed wants a MAME only fe and doesn't bother with much of anything else.  The skinner setup is pretty much static.  Again unless he wants to change something personally he's not going to bother adding new stuff.  The gamelist database probably won't be updated until he updates his rom collection personally and has a need to update it.  Again he releases his personal fe to the public, so how could you blame him.

Me, Ed, and the other guys all have different philosophies on how to proceed.  Ed is obviously the most conservative of the lot, but I respect his views and you should to.  Long story short, just don't rush the man because he will get to it in his own time.  :)

Sorry, I recently had a server change. I forgot to upload the skin to new server. It is there now.  ;D
