Good SNES Emu?
« on: June 07, 2004, 05:52:52 pm »
Hey all, I'm at work right now so I can't check, but I think the current SNES emu I uses is snes9x or something like that. It seems to be a pretty good emu but the scrolling isn't very smooth.  I'm running win2000 with an Athlon 2200. I've been playing Dragon Quest 5 and it just kind of tears as I move along.  The game is very much playable, that's just kind of irritating.

Does anyone know a setting I could check, or an emu that might work better? Links would be super.

Hey Matt,

Have you tried using ZSNES? It's not bad...That's what I use.

Check it out.

Oh yeah, this works great. Turns out this is what I was using, but with an older version. The new version runs much smoother.  Thanks so much!!
