Any other Arizona members?
« on: June 07, 2004, 02:42:10 am »
Well,

After about 6 months of begging and doing all of my "honey-do's" on time I have FINALLY been given the go-ahead from my wife on my first Mame cab!

I am soo freeking excited. I feel like a kid in a candy store. :)

A little bit about myself.

I am a database admin so the computer work is not problem, but I have NO experience in electronics or wood working and no tools for either as well. :(

I have a total budget of about $1,000 for my project from start to finish. (Including computer and monitor/TV cost)

I was hoping to find someone in the Phoenix, Arizona area that has already built a Cab (standup or cocktail) that I could take a look at to get more of an idea of what I am going to be building.

And yes, my first purchase tomorrow will be to the book store to purchase the Project Arcade book.

I live in Arizona but I have not even started my cab yet.  I have a huge list of honey-do's to complete first.  Good luck on building your cab.

Just got home from Barnes & Nobel with my new Project Arcade book.

Time to spend the next few days with my face buried in the book. :)

Great!

I live in a new apt complex right next to the Raven Country club across from South Mountain on baseline Rd. (3600 block)

If you have built a cab I'd love to check it out. You can buzz me at 480-593-0441

Hey, I'm in Tucson...just got my cab 100% functional this past weekend (still needs a lot of exterior work though).  Good to see other people from Arizona on this board
