Need power cord for arcade monitor
«
on:

I seem to have lost mine and was wondering where I could get a powercord for my arcade monitor. Do they differ for monitor to monitor? Or they all the same?
Thanks

If its an arcade monitor, you do NOT want to plug this into an outlet. The monitor MUST have the power isolated via an isolation transformer.

Only a very few arcade monitors do *not* need one. Either way, having one is cheap insurance.

Wow sweet, very informative. Thank you very much. If I have any Q's I'll post it in here. Thanks again.
*Edit: This helps me with the VGA cable hookup but not my power cord problem (unless I am missing something).

If you mean the power cable in the game cabinet then here is what you need to buy to make your own:
1 Molex # 19-09-1029 White receptacle
2 Molex # 02-09-1101 Female pins
about 4 feet of 16 or 18 gauge zip cord to reach from the monitor to the isolation transformer.
1 # W-HT1919 Molex hand crimping tool for .093 pins
You have to fabricate the power cable as it's no longer available ready made from Wells-Gardner. That's why I provided the Molex numbers. I wonder if Bob Roberts could make this cable for you?
