Wild!! I've always wondered about the layout of the house.  I wonder how much it cost to build the house...

Found it...

It cost $125,000 in 1997 to build the house.

And the people who won it painted the front to a different color to match the rest of the neighborhood.   >:(

They should have left it a tourist attaction.

Well, if I lived across the street from them, I'd rather see a normal color too...

Well, if I lived across the street from them, I'd rather see a normal color too...

Well I don't blame the owners too much since (a) it should have been placed somewhere out of a residential area and (b) it shouldn't have been raffled off.  Plus, from what I've heard, they left the inside as is.  

And I feel the opposite... if I lived across the street I'd want that thing the original color.  But then again I lived in a neighborhood where the others did some freaky things to their houses.
