My Looney-Cade Marquee
« on: May 21, 2004, 11:41:47 am »
I had a friend do this up for me.  Eventually I will have side art that is just a collage of Looney Tunes characters.  This will take a little while to complete but the marquee is basically done -- short, simple and sweet IMHO.

BTW I have gathered tons of EXCELLENT INFO from this site, please keep up the good work.

Sweet!  Looks great.

The only thing I would change is the text "That's all folks"
I know it's the looney tunes logo, but it seems to be the end of something, kinda like, "game over".

Sorry, I don't have an idea on what to replace it with...

Like it.  Surprised I haven't seen a loony toons cab.  I agree about changing "thats all folks"...how about something like "Wun Wabbit Wun" - wun pronounced "one"- just as Fudd would have said it.

Cool looking Marquee.  Be sure to post pics of your side art when you do it.  I agree with TalkingOctopus, I like the "That's all folks" and would keep it.

Great looking Marquee.  Isnt porky Pig the one who says "Thats all Folks"  I wonder if you could have him ripping thru the middle.  Just a thought.  It looks great the way it is though.

Thanks for the comments guys.  While I understand everyone's concern about the "That's all Folks" line I think I am going to leave it.  Afterall its the Looney Tunes signature phrase.

The side-art will be a collage of several characters so Porky, Yosemite, RR, Coyote, Marvin the Martian, Tweety, Sylvester etc. will all make it on to the side-art.  It should trun out pretty good.

I will be sure to post pics when I am done.

I came accross this Vector of Marvin the Martian the other day. Maybe it will help.

GCS,

It was just an idea to change the logo text, but like others said, it should stay...

The marquee is fantastic, cant wait to see the side art and the finished cab. It will just scream fun!

Good luck
