Clrmame Pro and mame.36?

I am trying to get my roms to work with an older version of mame.  Can this be done with clrmame pro?  Everytime I try it errors out.

I had the same problems, I think you need to use listinfo.txt as a dat file. Create a standard listinfo file by entering this at the command line:

mame -listinfo > mame036.dat

Then click the "Add DAT..." button in the ClrMame Profiler and point it towards your newly created mame036.dat

Not sure if this is exactly how I did it, but I think it's right.
