Rom name question for ZSNES
« on: May 16, 2004, 03:28:58 pm »
Hi, all: I'm using ZSNES, and my file (rom) names are extremely long. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a utility or way to bulk rename the files to something more manageable? I understand that ZSNES used to have a function that would read the header name, not the file name, so you got something more sensible and brief, but that function doesn't appear to be part of the software anymore.

I use Emulaxian with speech enabled, so when I launch a ZSNES game, Emulaxian reads these really wacky file names. So any help in renaming them would be awesome. Thanks, all!

Regards,
Mario
