Golden Tee PC Version
« on: May 14, 2004, 12:20:25 pm »

I picked it up on Ebay for $3.00, What a steal !!!

This game is great in a cab but the two things that bug me are:

- You have to enter a name (using the keyboard) for each player.

- You have to calibrate your swing everytime you play.

Is there anyway around these two annoyances?

No theres nothing you can do about it.  but they are only one time things that take 1 min to complete.

Yep, I calibrate every time. It's a minor annoyance

I find that I'm playing Tiger Woods 2004 more than GT.  It's a great game.

golden tee is a great game, and tiger woods is very good as well, but i think that the golden tee game was more designed for trackball play.  because no matter how hard you spin the trackball on your follow through with TW, it will still go the same distance depending on your stats.  however, in golden tee, if you dont spin the ball with some "oomph" it wont go as far.  i dont know, maybe its the realism of the actual Golden Tee machine that i like.

This place as Golden Tee PC for just the shipping. Never bought from them before, so not sure how good they are. I already have it, but does anyone know where to get the extra courses?
